A True Friendship

Whatever you have to say about the picture...I dont care, lol. It has a good meaning behind it. Well today has been a true test of my faith in people. I've always had the mentality if you befriend someone that would make them your friend also. I believe that a lot of people do honestly believe that they are someone's friend, but does anyone know the basis of a REAL friendship.

A real friendship starts with trust, now I dont mean a blind trust, but a little trust and faith in that person. Friendship should NEVER be a one way streak. A real friend is always available to be a friend 24/7, whether it's emotional support, advice, telling you things that you may not want to hear, but it's good for you in the long run. My real friends if they ever need anything it's no problem with helping them if they truly need it and I have the means to help them out, and I won't ask them about paying me back, ect.

A real friendship basicly is a relationship where each individual helps the other, without seeking any reward or acalades, ect. If you're able to help, the other person shouldn't have to stress about some things, it should be out of the kindness and genorosity of your heart. You can't call yourself a real friend when you are always on the sideline watching your "friend" ask for help when they're in trouble. Always remember what you do for that person, determines how much the other will do for you. Ask yourself this question..."Am I great friend?" if you hesitate or can't answer with one word, then...you're probably not. Don't do things because you feel obligated, but it should happen because you have a heart and compassion for your "friend"
