Today has been an insightful day for me...let's just leave it at that. So I just had a discussion with a friend, and we were talking about the things that people do.
I'm not going to go into great detail, but what I told the person is that when you meet people, you're meeting their "best face", because nobody is going to paint themselves to be a "monster".
My friend then told me that to every story there's two sides and then the truth...I learned something, and what were saying was really reitterating each other's point.
I told my friend that when you meet people, you don't look for the worst in people, I feel that you should always look for the best, but don't be ignorant that someone has the potential to cause harm to you.
But that's the things about life...you have to "chance" a lot of things and most of the time the stakes are your feelings. You should never go through life ignorant, but you don't want to live a life negatively.
We as humans are all guilty of this, we choose what we want others to see about us. Take for example the picture, when I want to make a good impression, let me put my "good" mask on and highlight the "great" things about me. When we are doing things we dont want others to know about or allow a few to see let me put the "other" mask on...we all have them...and we you actually are able to experience the view of both...
get them out of your head and put down the mask and look at the person...it's just Human Nature...we're Human...
