They say that we are a dying breed, and to tell you the truth,we are.
You may see us, helping others and befriending the lonely, but this is no longer the norm.
Society has got us bent on thinking that the typical (African American) Male, is a thug, a player of some sorts and that's what the females flock to.
What about us? When is it our time to shine? I approach you with respect and class only to be shot down?
I talk to you like my mother had raised me to approach and talk to females and I get shot down?
I refuse to sleep with you because I barely know you, and all of a sudden, I must have something or im too small to function???
Instead of laying on your couch and playing Playstation, I want to take you out for a night of culture and fun, but in no way you enjoy what I do?
I look at myself in the mirror and wonder what's wrong with me?
I disect myself and try to fit into a mold that I clearly can not fill.
I'm now alone, just me and God and I'm evaluating my life thus far...I try to stay on the straight and narrow, but I'm constantly getting detoured.
Listening to others and taking misleading advice.
I now have no respect for women.
I have no respect for my fellow brother.
I have no respect for myself.
I find other ways to make myself,like me.
I find ways to make me feel good.
I am no longer the good boy you once knew, and could rely on and relate to....
I am now the Good Boy Gone Bad...And I don't know when Im turning back.........

i mean dont change though because ppl dont perceive u as the good guy you are. i mean nice guys dont always finish last. and i mean there is a thing of bein "too nice" but dont change. someone will come along and take your too nice and enjoy it. so dont change cause maybe the girl who likes ur too nice will be gone when your in the process of "going Bad"!
