A Day Of Relief

Today, I felt like a damn bum, because I slept till 4:00pm and woke up. But this was a much needed day of relaxation. Precus picked me up and we went to Cherie's house, just talking and laughing and reminising. Sometimes that's life's remedy, hanging with friends and just having a good time. Nothing pricey, because a lot of things that you truly enjoy are free, there priceless and can't be priced. I know this blog was kind of weak, but people do need to take out the time and be thankful for what they have in their life and WHO they have in their life....just a little wisdom dropped on you,lol.

Mz. Keri Baby!!!!

Okay So it's come to my attention, that Mz. Keri Hilson is a bad mamajama,lol. Well a lil bout her, she's a songwriter turned performer, who's album In A Perfect World, drops March 24, go cop that by they way!!! Anyway, she's written songs for Brittney Spears, Ciara, Usher, Ludacris and other artists, even doing many collabos with others. She made her debut singing on Xzibit's song "Hey Now" in Europe of '04. Keris Hilson made her world debut on screen on Timbaland's "The Way I Are" as a breath of fresh air and the edge we've been waiting for. She's now released two singles, the heart broken ballad of "Energy" explaining how her relationship feels as if she's the only one giving anything at all, and "Turning Me On" which has a hood beat, explaining the things that men do to "turn her on" and then she backdoors and explains how they "turn her off" hey it's a good song. So I'm in the computer lab with my friend Raquel {shout out to mi fellow blogger} and it so happens that there is a remix to "Turning Me On", which from the sounds of it is a dis track. Clearly she's calling out the self-proclaimed Diva Beyonce Knowels and Ciara. If she's calling out Rihanna, I really can't tell, but this proves that obviously, Mz. Keri, doesn't hold her tounge for anyone...even spitting on the track "Check the Credits"...Watch out "Sasha Fierce" Mz. Keri is a gutta chick for Dacatar, Georgia [which she also said if you have a problem, you can find her there] who has a lot to say with her words and from what I've seen I think she can handle her own. Since Beyonce has an alter-ego, maybe Sasha will put out a track or either back Beyonce up, when Keri give her a good ol' fashion *** whoopin!!!
